Art statement when constructing I chose squishmellows- Reindeer, I wanted to take apart one of the squishmellow which can be seen where all the stuffing is above the outer skin. On top of the fluffy, I had pink and blue glitter spray paint, with sparkles to it that can look like colorful randomness. This piece is continuing with the other cut of squishmellow that also took apart.  When I was spraying the colors to the fluff, my first attention was not to make it look like cotton candy which is why I tried to add more pink into it and less blue but that didn't work out and caused it to look like this.  The way the colors turn out I did like it in the end because it brightened out more to it and with the sparkle, I wanted to add more color to it. Rather it just is a big white ball of fluff.  At the end of this, I want it to be a more happy fun whimsical piece of art than it is dark and sad because I did take apart the squishmellow that brings joy to people and kids so when it was t

Art statement when constructing I chose two different squishmellows and foam board. I wanted to take apart one of the squishmellow and the fabric on the top of the foamboard's top area. With the rest of the fluff, I look inside the triangular foamboard and at the outer part too. with the other squishmellow, I put it inside the entire triangle with fluff so it looks like it is sitting in the clouds like it is floating.

Object scuplture

Art statement when constructing I chose two different funko pop figures and each of the objects is from the movie, both important female characters of the film. Both are representations of being a mother to the main characters of the film. Each figure is from the different films DC comics Wonder woman and Disney Sleeping Beauty. When I got the making the sculpture, I wanted to keep the heads still intact but what I did was cut the body in half and glue the other character parts to the other character. Then I stick glue parts back into the head. Then I put the new sculpture back in the package box, so it represents this is a new package design for the public.

Mold Making

Image
Art statement when constructing I use a reference from one of my key chains that use to get into my dorm room. The one that I use was my safety alarm key chain which on it has a flashlight and if you pull the top of it a loud siren goes off until I click back to back together. When making the mold I really wanted to make sure the get the circle part in the clay form because that is what makes it so unique for this object.

Foam Sculpture

Art statement when constructing this I wanted free flow form almost like a lava lap. A way can be seen when the lava lap moves up before breaking apart. This also reminds me of when I see my sister or my friend because they have a lava lap, seeing creates unique shapes where they can come apart and then flow down to the bottom, doing it all over again. I also want a circle piece to free flow from the top and bottom. For my color choice, I chose to have an orange glow that some lava lap has when you are looking at it.

Wood work Sculpture

Art statement when constructing this I want it to look almost like a seesaw with the bottom end touching the ground but also make it unique and have a modern feeling to it. So each piece was cut in a certain way that made it different and unique to one another, The color choice of the piece is because I love pastel colors and my favorite is pink especially when it comes to pastels.
