Gregor's room  D uring the process of this project, the concept was to only used white copy paper, and without using tape or glue create a design that is constructed in three-dimensional sculpture based on the story from  The Metamorphosis  Gregor room. Based on what I read in the story, this is what I visualize of what the room would look like. To me I thought of somewhat bright colors but also some dull colors to had to the mix of bright.  in processed: Professional photos:

  Figurative Sculptures T he concept of this project was to create two small-scale,  figurative, bust sculptures that have to do the use the elements and principles to visually communicate a social commentary. The social commentary that is used for this project is gender inequality which is a big deal for women. In today's society women get paid less than men which is not ok, it should be equal no matter what gender or race. The one you see that is bigger bust happens to represent the men which you'll see is cover in money while the other bust is the women. On the piece that is the woman, she is cover in flowers which represent feminity, has three books that represent for as a teacher, and has a bowl and a spoon represents be a housewife. It is also a form of self-destructio n." - Diane Ackerman, a natural history of the senses.  Artist's Statement: This represents what tattoos mean to me, when I see tattoos I see art that is formed in a way for the person that is wearing them on their body. For some people, when they see too many tattoos on someone their first thought is that oh this person is not a good person, they are a delinquent or criminal but we don't know that if they are good or bad.  We have this perspective of what tattoos are supposed to be for people. The tattoos that I have are meaningful and reminders of what I went through the hard times in my life to be where I am today . Tatt
